Sheila Robinson Frisbie
1946-2016
Sheila (Robinson) Frisbie, 69, of Falley Drive, passed away Friday at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Boston on October 6, 1946 to the late Patricia (O’Brien) and James B. Robinson, Jr. She was raised in Needham and has lived in Westfield for the past 50 yrs. Sheila worked at Fran Johnson’s Golf and Tennis formerly of West Springfield for over 15 years and for the last several years has worked at Ruff House in Westfield. She was a graduate of Needham High School and later attended Westfield State University. She was an avid golfer winning 6 Club Championships at Shaker Farms Country Club and she has two holes-in-one to her credit. She was a member of the Sons of Erin in Westfield and she had a special place in her heart for all the dogs she owned and knew over the years. She was the beloved widow of James W. Frisbie who passed away in 2002, cherished mother of Michael W. Frisbie of Ellington CT, Todd R. Frisbie and his wife Tammy of Westfield, and Jamie Frisbie and his longtime companion Kimberly Ehrlich of West Springfield, caring sister of Heather Mirisola and her husband Joseph of Kingston, MA, loving grandmother of Jack, Andrew, Miranda and Gabrielle Frisbie, Jourdan, Brooke, and James Frisbie, and Sophia, Sonya, and Liam Frisbie, and devoted aunt of Joseph and Ava Mirisola. There will be a Committal Service Thursday at 12:30 PM at Pine Hill Cemetery, 140 West Silver Street, Westfield, followed by a Celebration of Life Gathering at St. Anne Country Club, 781 Shoemaker Lane, Feeding Hills. Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
